Pink, Purple and Gold are short coats, black and tan/tannish red. White and yellow are long coats, black and deep red. Long coats do not shed more than short coats, in fact they sometimes shed less. I have included a photo at the end as a reference for what they would look like in terms of coat lengths as adults.
