We were completely heartbroken to announce that one of the very best dogs to ever live here at Stonehill passed away June 17, 2014. Chelsea was nearly 14 years old, and loved by all who met her. She was OFA Excellent. She had a remarkable temperament and was used as a babysitter dog, a job that she loved doing even on what would be her final day. Even until her last, she always had a spark and zest for life. She never missed a social and was happy to play. There was no telling her she was old. Not a puppy was born here in the last ten years that didn't know and love Chelsea. She was a constant companion for weaning puppies or those whose littermates had already left. We could always count on her. She will be dearly missed by everyone here, including every single one of our dogs that grew up under her caring presence. All losses are hard, but this one is especially devastating. If we had the choice, she would have lived forever. Rest in peace over the Rainbow Bridge, old girl.
